About Us

Hedianga Farm is a predominantly rocky region comprising different challenging trails perfect for walking, hiking and mountain biking. It is situated on the Bronberg side of the Magaliesberg mountain in the eastern part of Pretoria. It is a great location to watch the sunset and take photographs.

Beautiful place. Great hiking destination for anyone looking for a spot to take their doggo. Ample parking and safe.
Payment is made upon entry, and your ticket is valid for 7 days.

On and off leash during designated times. Rocky, natural terrain with clearly marked routes.
Not shaded, so plan carefully during hot seasons. Carry plenty of water as there are no taps along the routes.
Safe and picturesque.

Lovely well marked trail with a intermediate to medium difficulty level.

Definitely bring water and be aware the 10 km trail is not very well shaded.

Payments in cash so bring enough to cover your entrance fee

Nice hike. But there are better ones. Saw quite a bit of rubbish and people not cleaning after their dogs. Also wouldn't hike there by myself.

I highly recommend Hediaga Farm for outdoor enthusiasts. The trails offer a perfect blend of scenic beauty and varied terrain, making it ideal for both walking and running. This is and will always be one of my favourite spots to hike. My favourite part is that they get to go off leash for a certain part which is the dogs absolutely love. And 2nd the amazing smell of nature. Makes you feel grounded

Took the dogs for an off the leash hike this morning.

5km, 10km and 15km trails available. We did the 5km which was reasonably easy and fit for a novice hiker.

This inner city hike was quite populated with runners, hikers and other dogs this morning which made it feel quite safe.

No booking required. R50 per adult and R35 for students aged between 13 and 25 years old. You will receive a ticket once you pay which is valid for 7 days.

Take note of the days and times off leash walking is allowed (see photo below). Other activities include mountain biking.
